The Hairy Bikers are back – and this time, they're going west. Best mates Dave and Si are starting off their adventure in Scotland, one of their favourite places in the whole world. It was on these Scottish roads that they first became best friends, and they're now returning to one of the places that holds very special memories for them both, the Isle of Bute. Jumping on a ferry at Wemyss Bay, around 30 miles west of Glasgow, the boys journey across the firth of Clyde before landing at Rothesay, the only town on the island. And it soon becomes clear that although this 15-mile stretch of land is home to just 6000 residents or so, there's a clear appetite for great local produce. (Senderinfo).
